36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to give their particular view on the signs from our alphabet.
36 days of restless creativity, in which participants are challenged to design a letter or number for each day, resulting in an overall view of the ability to represent the same sign from many different perspectives. - A project that aims to create a space for creation around typography and its endless graphic possibilities.
It was fun to be involved in this project - I found it challenging, especially under the severe time constraints, but was overall happy with my contribution.
A piece I entered into a local design competition.
When posed the question what is design to me, my answer was that standards are constantly being raised as resources available are rapidly improving. It is such a competitive industry to be a designer, and to be successful you need to stand out. You need to raise the bar.
After a great year working alongside AMFM Skateboard Co. lets hope for even greater success in 2015
